Three stands of Auxilia Palatina, the first units for a new Late Imperial Western Roman army. The centre stand has a command group, with a cornicen and a draco standard bearer. I tried to paint shields using designs from the Notitia Dignitatum, drawing from real Auxilia Palatina units from Ghaul. In particular:
